Hi I am back, let me tell you more about your trip, it had given me many first time experience and I was glad that I was on this trip
This is my first time visiting Batu Pahat and KL and it promised to be more fun than I expected.
Firstly at Batu Pahat, first time crossing the road like crossing hell like that, cars just zoom at high speed regardless you are standing in the middle of the road. You must always be on alert if not the car will really knock you flying...
Secondly, my first time playing badminton in Malaysia, and the place was like an oven, but I must say that the courts were well maintained...Not the biggest hall in Malaysia but it can contain 12 courts which was very amazing and you would be feeling tired if you are running around the courts for warm ups..
Thirdly, although I had played quite a few Malaysian during Yonex Sunrise competition, I had never won any of them because they were really very good. Finally on this trip, we got to play against some of them and I actually won the doubles, the feeling was sweet..
Next, we went to KL and it was the first time I took the Malaysian taxi, gosh, how I wished it was in Singapore, they anyhow charge you and if you never said a price before hand and ask for the meter, your head will sure be chopped off...
In Singapore, I never dare to play those Calbury Inverter or roller coaster because I can't overcome my fear but to my surprise, I actually played those in the Theme Park in Times Square, thinking of the feeling of hanging upside down from 4 storey high for 5 secs were quite scary. Though the roller coaster seemed less scary, it was the largest indoor roller coaster would freak you out, I played it twice with my eyes closed at some parts of the turn especially the loop lol.. Really must thanks the pal for encouraging me to play.
Thirdly, eating supper at the roadside stall was quite shiok... In Singapore, the nearest would have been Chinatown but the price was too steep and food too little, in KL, the fried Kway Tiao, Carrot Cake, Oyster Egg and Satay only cost less than 8Rm for the first 3 and 12Rm for 20 sticks of satay... But at that place met some weird people and things... On our way to the food stalls , there was 1 indian man sleeping outside a shop house and to tell you the truth he was sleeping since morning, if you never observed well you might have thought he was dead....Gosh.. Also, ever decorated your house with lanterns, it may seem nice but if it was hung outside the house and there were more than 30 lanterns hanging, it could be scary.... Also, a young little girl holding her grandmother walking on the street begging for money, they were very pitiful, the grandmother was like disfigured though it don't seem to be caused by acid...
Anyway, it was fun but tiring trip, it would always be remembered by me because this was the first badminton trip and possibly the last for me and I am really grateful that Janice had organised it, though there were some problems along the way, it was solved eventually and I must say that our coach Mr Chong is the best, without him, alot of activities could not have happened.. thanks everyone in the team and I knew that I am Once A Saints Badminton Player, Always A Saints Badminton Player..
